In Croatia, the sector Buildings was responsible for 2.62 Mt CO₂eq of emissions in the year 2021, which is 10.7% of total emissions in that year. Compared to 1990 (3.33 Mt CO₂eq), emissions have decreased by 21.3%. Under existing measures, emissions from this sector are projected to reach 2.4 Mt CO₂eq by 2050.
