Solid waste disposal

In Croatia, the sub-sector Solid waste disposal (part of Waste) was responsible for 1.3 Mt CO₂eq of emissions in the year 2021, which is 5.3% of total emissions in that year. Compared to 1990 (0.55 Mt CO₂eq), emissions have increased by 135.5%. Under existing measures, emissions are projected to reach 0.03 Mt CO₂eq by 2050.
