In Czechia, the sector Buildings was responsible for 11.98 Mt CO₂eq of emissions in the year 2021, which is 10.3% of total emissions in that year. Compared to 1990 (30.34 Mt CO₂eq), emissions have decreased by 60.5%. Under existing measures, emissions from this sector are projected to reach 7.7 Mt CO₂eq by 2050.
