In Estonia, the sector Buildings was responsible for 0.44 Mt CO₂eq of emissions in the year 2021, which is 3.5% of total emissions in that year. Compared to 1990 (1.27 Mt CO₂eq), emissions have decreased by 65.5%. Under existing measures, emissions from this sector are projected to reach 0.5 Mt CO₂eq by 2050.
