Riigis Tšehhi põhjustas allsektor Public electricity and heat production (osa sektorist Energeetika) aastal 2021 39.26 Mt CO₂ekv heitkoguseid, mis moodustab 33.7% selle aasta koguheitkogustest. Võrreldes 1990. aastaga (54.82 Mt CO₂ekv) on heitkogused vähenenud 28.4%. Olemasolevate meetmete korral prognoositakse heitkogusteks 3.92 Mt CO₂ekv aastaks 2050.
