Public electricity and heat production
Riigis Malta põhjustas allsektor Public electricity and heat production (osa sektorist Energeetika) aastal 2021 0.77 Mt CO₂ekv heitkoguseid, mis moodustab 36.9% selle aasta koguheitkogustest. Võrreldes 1990. aastaga (1.77 Mt CO₂ekv) on heitkogused vähenenud 56.2%. Olemasolevate meetmete korral prognoositakse heitkogusteks 1.35 Mt CO₂ekv aastaks 2050.
