Riigis Portugal põhjustas allsektor Solid fuels (osa sektorist Energeetika) aastal 2021 0.02 Mt CO₂ekv heitkoguseid, mis moodustab 0.03% selle aasta koguheitkogustest. Võrreldes 1990. aastaga (0.16 Mt CO₂ekv) on heitkogused vähenenud 89.4%.
