Riigis Hispaania põhjustas allsektor Chemical industry (osa sektorist Tööstus) aastal 2021 3.78 Mt CO₂ekv heitkoguseid, mis moodustab 1.3% selle aasta koguheitkogustest. Võrreldes 1990. aastaga (7.61 Mt CO₂ekv) on heitkogused vähenenud 50.3%. Olemasolevate meetmete korral prognoositakse heitkogusteks 3.60 Mt CO₂ekv aastaks 2050.
