In Finland, the sector Mobility was responsible for 9.98 Mt CO₂eq of emissions in the year 2021, which is 20.9% of total emissions in that year. Compared to 1990 (12.09 Mt CO₂eq), emissions have decreased by 17.5%. Under existing measures, emissions from this sector are projected to reach 3.1 Mt CO₂eq by 2050.
