In Greece, the sector Mobility was responsible for 16.75 Mt CO₂eq of emissions in the year 2021, which is 21.6% of total emissions in that year. Compared to 1990 (14.5 Mt CO₂eq), emissions have increased by 15.5%. Under existing measures, emissions from this sector are projected to reach 14.9 Mt CO₂eq by 2040.
