U državi Latvija sektor Energetika bio je odgovoran za 1.55 Mt CO₂eq emisija u 2021. godini, što je 14.6% ukupnih emisija u toj godini. U usporedbi s 1990. godinom (6.59 Mt CO₂eq), emisije su smanjene za 76.5%. Prema postojećim mjerama, predviđa se da će emisije iz ovog sektora dosegnuti 0.2 Mt CO₂eq do 2050. godine.
