Valstī Malta sektors Enerģētika bija atbildīgs par 0.77 Mt CO₂ekv. emisijām 2021. gadā, kas ir 36.9% no kopējām emisijām tajā gadā. Salīdzinot ar 1990. gadu (1.77 Mt CO₂ekv.), emisijas ir samazinājušās par 56.2%. Ar esošajiem pasākumiem šā sektora emisijas tiek prognozētas 1.3 Mt CO₂ekv. līmenī līdz 2050. gadam.
