In Poland, the sub-sector Solid Fuels (part of Energy) was responsible for 18.29 Mt CO₂eq of emissions in the year 2021, which is 4.6% of total emissions in that year. Compared to 1990 (27.9 Mt CO₂eq), emissions have decreased by 34.4%. Under existing measures, emissions are projected to reach 19.52 Mt CO₂eq by 2050.
