În Ungaria, sectorul Industrie a fost responsabil de 11.82 Mt CO₂ech emisii în anul 2021, ceea ce reprezintă 18.9% din emisiile totale în acel an. Comparativ cu 1990 (28.27 Mt CO₂ech), emisiile au scăzut cu 58.2%. În cadrul măsurilor existente, emisiile din acest sector sunt estimate să ajungă la 12.6 Mt CO₂ech până în 2050.
