Enteric Fermentation

In Sweden, the sub-sector Enteric Fermentation (part of Agriculture) was responsible for 3.3 Mt CO₂eq of emissions in the year 2021, which is 7% of total emissions in that year. Compared to 1990 (3.67 Mt CO₂eq), emissions have decreased by 10%. Under existing measures, emissions are projected to reach 2.87 Mt CO₂eq by 2050.
