Waste

In Czechia, the sector Waste was responsible for 5.7 Mt CO₂eq of emissions in the year 2021, which is 4.8% of total emissions in that year. Compared to 1990 (3.32 Mt CO₂eq), emissions have increased by 71.8%. Under existing measures, emissions from this sector are projected to reach 3.0 Mt CO₂eq by 2050.
