Compared to 1990 (1.05 Mt CO₂eq), emissions have decreased by 34.6%. Under existing measures, emissions are projected to reach 0.66 Mt CO₂eq by 2050.
What is part of this sector? Emissions caused by the fertilisation of soil (e.g. nitrogen fertiliser, liquid manure, sewage sludge) or by urine and manure from grazing animals.
