Riigis Soome põhjustas allsektor Public electricity and heat production (osa sektorist Energeetika) aastal 2021 11.89 Mt CO₂ekv heitkoguseid, mis moodustab 24.8% selle aasta koguheitkogustest. Võrreldes 1990. aastaga (16.55 Mt CO₂ekv) on heitkogused vähenenud 28.1%.
