U državi Slovenija sektor Energetika bio je odgovoran za 4.93 Mt CO₂eq emisija u 2021. godini, što je 30.9% ukupnih emisija u toj godini. U usporedbi s 1990. godinom (7.49 Mt CO₂eq), emisije su smanjene za 34.2%. Prema postojećim mjerama, predviđa se da će emisije iz ovog sektora dosegnuti 1.8 Mt CO₂eq do 2050. godine.
