U državi Slovenija podsektor Solid fuels (dio sektora Energetika) bio je odgovoran za 0.37 Mt CO₂eq emisija u 2021. godini, što je 2.3% ukupnih emisija u toj godini. U usporedbi s 1990. godinom (0.6 Mt CO₂eq), emisije su smanjene za 39%. Prema postojećim mjerama, predviđa se da će emisije dosegnuti 0.31 Mt CO₂eq do 2033. godine.
