Compared to 1990 (3.41 Mt CO₂eq), emissions have increased by 0.7%. Under existing measures, emissions are projected to reach 3.50 Mt CO₂eq by 2050.
What is part of this sector? Emissions caused by the fertilisation of soil (e.g. nitrogen fertiliser, liquid manure, sewage sludge) or by urine and manure from grazing animals.
This sub-sector accounts for 39.2% of Agriculture emissions in Hungary.
