Solid Waste Disposal

In Hungary, the sub-sector Solid Waste Disposal (part of Waste) was responsible for 3.23 Mt CO₂eq of emissions in the year 2021, which is 5% of total emissions in that year. Compared to 1990 (2.84 Mt CO₂eq), emissions have increased by 13.7%. Under existing measures, emissions are projected to reach 1.40 Mt CO₂eq by 2050.
