Oil and Natural Gas

In Latvia, the sub-sector Oil and Natural Gas (part of Energy) was responsible for 0.11 Mt CO₂eq of emissions in the year 2021, which is 1% of total emissions in that year. Compared to 1990 (0.28 Mt CO₂eq), emissions have decreased by 60.3%. Under existing measures, emissions are projected to reach 0.04 Mt CO₂eq by 2050.
