In Lithuania, the sector Buildings was responsible for 1.35 Mt CO₂eq of emissions in the year 2021, which is 6.7% of total emissions in that year. Compared to 1990 (5.69 Mt CO₂eq), emissions have decreased by 76.4%. Under existing measures, emissions from this sector are projected to reach 1.1 Mt CO₂eq by 2050.
