Solid Waste Disposal

In Lithuania, the sub-sector Solid Waste Disposal (part of Waste) was responsible for 0.62 Mt CO₂eq of emissions in the year 2021, which is 3.1% of total emissions in that year. Compared to 1990 (1.15 Mt CO₂eq), emissions have decreased by 46.5%. Under existing measures, emissions are projected to reach 0.15 Mt CO₂eq by 2050.
