Solid waste disposal

In Lithuania, the sub-sector Solid waste disposal (part of Waste) was responsible for 0.63 Mt CO₂eq of emissions in the year 2021, which is 3.2% of total emissions in that year. Compared to 1990 (1.15 Mt CO₂eq), emissions have decreased by 44.9%. Under existing measures, emissions are projected to reach 0.10 Mt CO₂eq by 2050.
