In Slowakije was de subsector Manufacture of solid fuels and other energy industries (onderdeel van Energie) verantwoordelijk voor 1.08 Mt CO₂eq aan emissies in het jaar 2021, wat 2.6% van de totale emissies in dat jaar is. Vergeleken met 1990 (1.32 Mt CO₂eq) zijn de emissies gedaald met 17.8%. Onder bestaande maatregelen zullen de emissies naar verwachting 1.25 Mt CO₂eq bereiken in 2050.
Wat valt onder deze sector? Emissions from combustion processes in oil and gas production, e.g. compressors for natural gas storage facilities and the fuel consumption of gas processing plants.
Deze subsector is verantwoordelijk voor 12.9% van de Energie-emissies in Slowakije.
