Public electricity and heat production
In Slowakije was de subsector Public electricity and heat production (onderdeel van Energie) verantwoordelijk voor 4.38 Mt CO₂eq aan emissies in het jaar 2021, wat 10.6% van de totale emissies in dat jaar is. Vergeleken met 1990 (14.76 Mt CO₂eq) zijn de emissies gedaald met 70.3%. Onder bestaande maatregelen zullen de emissies naar verwachting 1.27 Mt CO₂eq bereiken in 2050.
