In Poland, the sector Buildings was responsible for 42.98 Mt CO₂eq of emissions in the year 2021, which is 10.8% of total emissions in that year. Compared to 1990 (47.94 Mt CO₂eq), emissions have decreased by 10.3%. Under existing measures, emissions from this sector are projected to reach 41.9 Mt CO₂eq by 2050.
