In Poland, the sub-sector Residential (part of Buildings) was responsible for 35.25 Mt CO₂eq of emissions in the year 2021, which is 8.8% of total emissions in that year. Compared to 1990 (38.15 Mt CO₂eq), emissions have decreased by 7.6%. Under existing measures, emissions are projected to reach 34.57 Mt CO₂eq by 2050.
