In Poland, the sub-sector Solid Waste Disposal (part of Waste) was responsible for 1.3 Mt CO₂eq of emissions in the year 2021, which is 0.3% of total emissions in that year. Compared to 1990 (14.62 Mt CO₂eq), emissions have decreased by 91.1%. Under existing measures, emissions are projected to reach 2.23 Mt CO₂eq by 2050.
