In Poland, the sub-sector Solid waste disposal (part of Waste) was responsible for 1.21 Mt CO₂eq of emissions in the year 2021, which is 0.3% of total emissions in that year. Compared to 1990 (14.94 Mt CO₂eq), emissions have decreased by 91.9%. Under existing measures, emissions are projected to reach 0.04 Mt CO₂eq by 2050.
