În Lituania, sectorul Energie a fost responsabil de 3.22 Mt CO₂ech emisii în anul 2021, ceea ce reprezintă 16.4% din emisiile totale în acel an. Comparativ cu 1990 (13.94 Mt CO₂ech), emisiile au scăzut cu 76.9%. În cadrul măsurilor existente, emisiile din acest sector sunt estimate să ajungă la 2.8 Mt CO₂ech până în 2050.
