In Slovenia, the sector Buildings was responsible for 1.03 Mt CO₂eq of emissions in the year 2021, which is 6.4% of total emissions in that year. Compared to 1990 (1.75 Mt CO₂eq), emissions have decreased by 41.6%. Under existing measures, emissions from this sector are projected to reach 0.3 Mt CO₂eq by 2050.
