In Slovenia, the sector Buildings was responsible for 1.13 Mt CO₂eq of emissions in the year 2021, which is 7.1% of total emissions in that year. Compared to 1990 (2.48 Mt CO₂eq), emissions have decreased by 54.2%. Under existing measures, emissions from this sector are projected to reach 0.4 Mt CO₂eq by 2050.
