In Slovenia, the sub-sector Residential (part of Buildings) was responsible for 0.77 Mt CO₂eq of emissions in the year 2021, which is 4.8% of total emissions in that year. Compared to 1990 (1.07 Mt CO₂eq), emissions have decreased by 28.4%. Under existing measures, emissions are projected to reach 0.22 Mt CO₂eq by 2050.
