Waste

In Latvia, the sector Waste was responsible for 0.56 Mt CO₂eq of emissions in the year 2021, which is 5.3% of total emissions in that year. Compared to 1990 (0.81 Mt CO₂eq), emissions have decreased by 29.8%. Under existing measures, emissions from this sector are projected to reach 0.1 Mt CO₂eq by 2050.
