Solid Waste Disposal

In Latvia, the sub-sector Solid Waste Disposal (part of Waste) was responsible for 0.37 Mt CO₂eq of emissions in the year 2021, which is 3.5% of total emissions in that year. Compared to 1990 (0.35 Mt CO₂eq), emissions have increased by 5.7%. Under existing measures, emissions are projected to reach 0.18 Mt CO₂eq by 2040.
