Oil and Natural Gas

In Slovakia, the sub-sector Oil and Natural Gas (part of Energy) was responsible for 0.26 Mt CO₂eq of emissions in the year 2021, which is 0.6% of total emissions in that year. Compared to 1990 (1.92 Mt CO₂eq), emissions have decreased by 86.5%. Under existing measures, emissions are projected to reach 0.18 Mt CO₂eq by 2050.
