Waste

In Slovakia, the sector Waste was responsible for 1.88 Mt CO₂eq of emissions in the year 2021, which is 4.6% of total emissions in that year. Compared to 1990 (1.54 Mt CO₂eq), emissions have increased by 22.6%. Under existing measures, emissions from this sector are projected to reach 1.0 Mt CO₂eq by 2050.
