Incineration and open burning of waste

In Slovakia, the sub-sector Incineration and open burning of waste (part of Waste) was responsible for 0.01 Mt CO₂eq of emissions in the year 2021, which is 0.018% of total emissions in that year. Compared to 1990 (0.03 Mt CO₂eq), emissions have decreased by 72.2%. Under existing measures, emissions are projected to reach 0.00 Mt CO₂eq by 2050.
