Solid Waste Disposal

In Slovakia, the sub-sector Solid Waste Disposal (part of Waste) was responsible for 1.26 Mt CO₂eq of emissions in the year 2021, which is 3.1% of total emissions in that year. Compared to 1990 (0.78 Mt CO₂eq), emissions have increased by 60.9%. Under existing measures, emissions are projected to reach 0.52 Mt CO₂eq by 2050.
