Solid waste disposal

In Slovakia, the sub-sector Solid waste disposal (part of Waste) was responsible for 1.24 Mt CO₂eq of emissions in the year 2021, which is 3% of total emissions in that year. Compared to 1990 (0.78 Mt CO₂eq), emissions have increased by 58.4%. Under existing measures, emissions are projected to reach 0.80 Mt CO₂eq by 2050.
